CAT tools

As a state-of-the-art language service provider, we use the latest industry technologies such as CAT tools. CAT stands for “computer aided translation”. A CAT tools is a software programme that supports the translation process.

Perhaps the most important reason to use a CAT tool is that the translation units are stored in a database, known as the translation memory (TM) in the industry. This allows the translation units to be reused at any time, even in one and the same document. Consistent translations are assured with reduced effort and less time. As the customer, you reap the benefits!

Up to 40% of text can be reused in technical documents, for example the translation of instructions for use. You only pay a low rate for repeated text since the translator merely has to verify the context.
